A short story on Eid Festival

A short story on Eid Festival

Once upon a time, in a small town nestled in the heart of a vast desert, the festival of Eid was just around the corner. The people of the town were eagerly preparing for the big day, cleaning their homes, cooking delicious food, and buying new clothes to wear.

Amongst all the hustle and bustle, there was a young boy named Ali. He was known for his kind and gentle nature, and everyone loved him dearly. Ali was especially excited for Eid, as he loved the festive atmosphere and the joy that it brought to the town.

As the day of Eid approached, Alis excitement grew. He spent hours helping his mother prepare the delicious feast that they would share with their friends and family. His father took him to the market to buy new clothes, and Ali picked out a beautiful white Kurta and a matching cap.

On the day of Eid, Ali woke up early, eager to begin the celebrations. He got dressed in his new clothes, and his mother tied a colourful scarf around his neck. As he walked outside, he saw that the town had been transformed. The streets were decorated with colourful banners, and people were bustling about in their best clothes, exchanging greetings and sweets.

Ali joined his family and friends in the town square, where a big feast had been set up. There were plates piled high with aromatic biryani, crispy samosas, and sweet, sticky gulab jamuns. Alis mouth watered at the sight of all the delicious food.

As the morning wore on, Alis father took him to the mosque, where they joined other families for the Eid prayers. Afterwards, they hugged and exchanged greetings, wishing each other a happy Eid. Alis heart swelled with happiness, as he felt the warmth of community and love all around him.

As the day came to an end, Ali returned home, exhausted but happy. He helped his mother clean up after the feast, feeling grateful for the abundance of food and the love that surrounded him. As he lay in bed, drifting off to sleep, Ali felt content and blessed, knowing that he had celebrated Eid in the best way possible- surrounded by love and happiness.

From that day on, Ali looked forward to Eid every year, knowing that it would bring the same joy and happiness that he felt on that special day.
