A Bandarban court has sent two more Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) members to jail in a case filed over bank robbery and assault in Thanchi upazila of Bandarban.
Bandarban Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Mohammad Nazmul Hossain passed the order on Wednesday.
The accused are Tyson Bwam, 23, son of Lal Tuan Bwam, and Bhan Khalian Bwam, 37, son of Sankim Bwam.
Bishwajit Singh, GRO of the court, said that the two accused were produced before the court in the case of bank robbery in Thanchi. Later, the court sent them to jail.
Meanwhile, nine cases were filed with the Ruma and Thanchi police stations of the district over the bank robbery and other offences that took place on April 2 and 3.
So far, the joint forces have detained 73 people, including 20 women, and among them 65 people were sent to jail.
