ACI CO-RO, Garbageman to tackle plastic pollution

ACI CO-RO Bangladesh Ltd, a prominent joint venture between ACI Ltd. and CO-RO A/S in Denmark, has teamed up with Garbageman Limited, a leading waste management company committed to sustainable practices, to combat plastic pollution in Bangladesh.

In a landmark event held on Wednesday, by collecting plastics at the National Zoo in Dhaka, the signing event marks the formalization of this exciting partnership.

Notable attendees include Nils Ronnow, Managing Director of ACI CO-RO, and Ibn Abu Zaed, Head of Marketing at ACI CO-RO, along with Fahim Uddin, Managing Director of Garbageman Limited, says a press release.
 
This collaboration underscores ACI CO-ROs focus on environmental responsibility and its mission to bring refreshment and delight to Bangladeshi consumers while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.

Garbagemans expertise in waste collection and recycling, coupled with ACI CO-ROs market presence and resources, represents a strong partnership on the journey towards a cleaner and greener Bangladesh.

Over the next year, the partnership aims to collect and recycle plastics, establish bins for waste collection, and organize cleaning events alongside green campus competitions. These efforts align with both companies shared vision of promoting responsible waste management practices and fostering environmental awareness.

Nils Ronnow, Managing Director of ACI CO-RO, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "This partnership reflects our   commitment to environmental sustainability. By working hand-in-hand with Garbageman, we aim to make a tangible impact on plastic pollution while inspiring others to join us in this crucial endeavor."

Garbagemans Managing Director Fahim Uddin also echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
