Three found dead in Natore, Coxs Bazar, Sirajganj

Three people including a housewife were found dead in separate incidents in three districts - Natore, Coxs Bazar and Sirajganj, in two days.
GURUDASPUR, NATORE: Police recovered the body of a young man from a maize field in Gurudaspur Upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Md Sohel Hossain, 30, son of Md Sirajul Islam, a resident of Chandrapur Tuladhuna Village under Nazirpur Union in the upazila.
Quoting the deceaseds family members, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gurudaspur Police Station (PS) Md Ujjal Hossain said Sohel went of the house at around 2 am on Monday, but did not return. The family members searched him various places but could not locate him.
Later on, locals spotted the body of Sohel in a maize filed of the area at around 6 pm on Tuesday and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body from the scene and sent it to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Police suspected that the youth might have been murdered as his body bore several injury marks.
However, the law enforcers are investigating the matter, the OC added.
PEKUA, COXS BAZAR: Police recovered the hanging body of a young man from a dental care centre at Pekua Bazar in the upazila of the district on Monday.
Deceased Shakhawat Ullah, 24, son of late Shafiullah Chowdhury, hailed from Kaira Para area under Toitong Union in the upazila.
Local sources said a female patient went to Keya Dental Care to get treatment. After entering the chamber, she saw the body of the youth hanging from the ceiling      fan.
Being informed, police recovered the body and brought it to the PS at around 4:30 pm.
It has been reported that the deceased Shakhawat Ullah was an assistant at Keya Dental Care run by Dentist Syed MA Musa. In the morning, Syed Musa did not come to hospital. It was revealed that Musa was staying at his home at Shikhali.
The deceaseds mother Ranu Akter said, "My son Musa started working as an assistant two months back. Shakhawat went from house to Musas chamber at around 10 am. I heard the news of his death in the afternoon."
In this regard, Dentist Syed MA Musa said, "Shakhawat started work in my chamber two months back. He called me at around 1:30 pm and told that he needed Tk 4,000. I was at home then. I said I will give it after coming to the chamber in the evening. In the afternoon, I heard that he committed suicide by hanging himself."
SIRAJGANJ: Police recovered the hanging body of a pregnant woman from her in-laws house in Sadar Upazila of the district early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Rasheda Khatun, 18, wife of Imamul Islam, a resident of Mulibari Checkpost area in the upazila. She was the daughter of Rashedul Islam of the area.  
The deceaseds family members said Imamul is a drug addict and used to torture Rasheda in demand of money for buying drugs. Following this, the couple locked in an altercation on Sunday night.
Later on, Rashedas body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room.
The deceaseds family members alleged that Imamul might have killed Rasheda and fled away along with his family members.  
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sirajganj Sadar PS Manik Uddin confirmed the incident, adding that on information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sirajganj 250-bed Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
However, the actual reason behind the death of the housewife would be known after getting the autopsy report and the law enforcers are trying to detain the deceaseds husband, the SI added.
