A young man reportedly died of heat stroke in Rajshahi's Paba upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was Dilip Biswas, 35, a resident of Kadipur village under Damkura police station of the upazila.
The family members told the police that Dilip Biswas was physically fit person. He fell ill on Sunday morning and died instantly around 8:30 am. So they think that he died of heat stroke due to the intense heat.

Rajshahi's Damkura Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mainul Bashar said they reached the spot after getting the news.

''We went there and talk to the parents of deceased Dilip Biswas. They said that their son died of heat stroke. Later, permission was given for cremation of the body without autopsy'', the OC said.

Rajshahi recorded a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Earlier, on Saturday, the maximum temperature was 41.5 degrees Celsius. The information was known from Rajshahi Meteorological Office.
