AL brutality on BNP increased after dummy election: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Fakrul Islam Alamgir said on Friday the illegal Awami Leagues brutality against leaders and activists of BNP has increased after the dummy election on January 7.

In a press release he also said, "Awami League illegally cling to power through lies, intimidation and by cheating people. The government continuously brutally suppressed and persecuted democracy loving parties and people."
BNP Secretary General said  Awami government has established a new oppressive regime in the country by denying bail and sending the opposition leaders and activists to prison along with sentencing in false and fabricated cases.

"Narayanganj District BNP President Muhammad Ghiyas Uddin was denied bail and sent to jail is a continuation of Awami oppression," he said.  

Fakhrul demanded immediate release of all BNP leaders and activists and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
