Both the matches in the Bangladesh Premier League on Saturday finished tie in different venues. Bangladesh Police held Bashundhara Kings in a 2-2 match in Dhaka while Fortis Football Club and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club played a goalless draw in Rajshahi.

Bashundhara Kings which already secured the title with three matches yet to play had stumbled on Bangladesh Police on the day as the Police boys stuck the opponents in a 2-2 margin tie.

It was Nigerian striker Mfon Sunday Udoh who opened the net for Bashundhara boys in the 43rd minute. In reply, the Police levelled with a 50-minute goal by Mahdi Khan and doubled the net with a 69-minute goal by Edward Enrique Morillo Jimenéz.

Finally, Brazilian striker Dorielton Gomes Nascimento levelled the margin for Bashundhara Kings in the 71st minute of the match. Despite being the champions and getting a few minutes of injury time, the Bashundhara boys could not break the deadlock and left the ground with shared points.

The other match at the District Stadium in Rajshahi, Fortis Football Club and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club too shared points following a goalless match.

The next matches of the league are scheduled to be played on Friday. Then, Bangladesh Police will meet Fortis Football Club and Old Dhakas Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society will take on Bashundhara Kings.
