Youth killed being bitten by dogs in M'singh


A young man tragically died after being bitten by a herd of dogs in Mymensingh's Nandail upazila early Sunday.

The dead was Ezazul Isalm, 32, son of late Samir Hossain, hailed from Sherpur Uttarpara village under Sherpur Union of the upazila.
According to locals, Ezazul used to live in a rented house adjacent to Nandail Upazila Health Complex and worked as a pharmaceutical company representative. On Sunday, he was going to mosque along the river bank road at Chariani Para for the Fajr prayer early in the morning. On the way, a herd of dogs surrounded him from all sides and started biting him.

On his screams, local people came forward and found that the dogs had eaten various parts of the young man's body, including his stomach. He died on the spot.

Nandail Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Majid said being informed, police were sent to the spot. Later, the body was handed over to the family of deceased.
