The admissions for students, who passed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent exams, will begin on July 15 and continue until July 25.
The students will have to apply online based on their results. The applications will be accepted in three phases.
A notice on the application process, results, admissions, and the start of classes was issued by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Sunday. Classes for eleventh grade will then begin July 30.
The first phase of the application process will kick off on May 26 and will continue until June 11.
The students will have to log into the www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd website and apply for admission.
They must pay a Tk 150 fee and can apply to a maximum of 10 educational institutions of their preference.
A student’s college will be selected based on merit, any applicable quotas, and their preferences.
The first phase of admissions will be handled from June 12-13. Applications will be scrutinised, sorted, and settled.
Applications for re-evaluation for any students whose results changed on review will also be accepted.
The first phase of admission results will be announced at 8pm on June 23.
Applications for the second phase will be accepted from June 30 to July 2. The results for the second phase of admissions and the first transfers will be released at 8pm on June 4. and the third phase on July 9-10.
The results for the third phase of admissions and the second round of transfers will be announced at 8pm on July 12.
Students can then pay their fees and complete the admissions process from July15-July 25.
Earlier, the Secondary and Higher Education Division at the Ministry of Education had issued the policy for admissions.
