4 ARSA men detained, arms, ammo recovered from Rohingya camp

COXS BAZAR, May 20:  Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained four members of Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and recovered arms and ammunition from a Rohingya camp in Ukhiya here  early Sunday.

The detainees are Amir Hossain, 29, son of Deen Mohammad of Block H-81, Camp-17; Ziaur Rahman, 32, son Fazal Karim of Block-H of same camp; Saydun Amin, 30, son of Abdus Salam of Block C-4 of Camp-4; and Md HJarun, 22, son of Badsha Mia of Block-A of Camp-7.
APBn-14 Assistant Commander and Superintendant of Police Md Arefin Jewel said they had information that some armed people had gathered in the Rohingya camp of extension number 20 of Ukhiya upazila to commit a crime.
