On Wednesday (June 5), Jihad was produced before a Barasat court where Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Shuvankar Biswas placed him on a two-day remand for questioning.
Jihad will again be produced before court on June 7.

Jihad was caught by the detectives of West Bengal at Bangaon on May 23 last. On that night, CID conducted a search with him to recover the severed body parts of Anar.
