Another Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim dies in Saudi Arabia

Another Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim has died in Saudi Arabia in Mecca of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

This information was released on the Bangladesh Hajj Management Portal on Wednesday. With this, a total of 11 hajj pilgrims died in the country.

The deceased was Mumtaz Begum, 63, a resident of Nagarkanda of Faridpur.

According to the information received, of the 63,141 pilgrims who had arrived in Saudi Arabia by Wednesday, 4,165 were under government management and 58,976 were under private management.

The Hajj may begin on June 16, subject to the sighting of the moon. A total of 86,257 pilgrims will perform hajj from Bangladesh this year.
