Land service week begins in Netrakona

The week-long Land Service week-2024 began Netrakona on Saturday with the theme "Smart land service, Smart citizens".

Netrakona district administration chalked out various programs to observe the week.

As part of the programme, a land service booth was set up at the Netrakona Sadar land office aiming to provide digital land service at the door-steps of the people without any harassment. Deputy commissioner (DC) Netrakona Shahed Parvez formally inaugurated the booth. reports BSS.
 
A colorful rally was brought out in the district town from the Netrakona Sadar upazila land office premises and the rally ended on the Netrakona DC office premises after parading the main roads of the town.

DC Shahed Parvez, chairman of Netrakona Zila parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sazal, additional deputy commissioner (revenue) Shamima Yasmin, additional police super Harun-or-Rashid and panel chairman of Netrakona municipality SM Mahsin Alam were present at the rally.
A mass awareness meeting was held at the conference room of Netrakona DC office.

Chaired by the DC Shahed Parvez, the meeting was addressed, among others, by chairman of Netrakona zila parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sazal, additional deputy commissioner (revenue) Shamima Yasmin, additional police super Harun-or -Rashid and former commander of district Muktizoddha Sangsad Nurul Amin.

A large number of local people from all walks of life including land officers, local public representatives, students, teachers, civil society members and journalists joined the meeting.
