While the aspirant nations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 is getting ready for the third stage of the qualification round, Bangladesh is closing its chapter for the World Cup qualifiers with an away match against Lebanon in the round 2 today (Tuesday) at 10:00 pm (BST) in Qatar.

Due to the ongoing crises in Lebanon owing to the frontier conflict with war-monger Israel, the match is going to be played at the Khalifa International Stadium in the Al Rayyan city of in the Middle East.
Both Lebanon and Bangladesh are finishing their FIFA World Cup 2026 with the match. However, they still have the chance to play the third-round of the qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup.

Previously, Bangladesh had a 1-1 tie with the Lebanon team in November last year in the round.

Only a few days ago, Bangladesh managed to stick the Australian mens national football team officially nicknamed the Socceroos in a 0-2 margin in a Group I match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers round 2 in Dhaka.

After the 0-2 match against a powerful rival like Australia, the boys in red and greens are expected to finish the round with a good result.
