Classes to continue during HSC exams

This year's HSC and equivalent examinations will start on June 30. So far, the authorities used to close the classes in the educational institutions which were used as centers on the examination day. However, education board has given instructions to continue the classes even on the exam day this year.

On Tuesday (June 11), Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka gave this instruction to the officials in charge of all examination centers in a letter.
It was said in the letter that the HSC exam-2024 is going to start on June 30. In those centers where schools and colleges are co-located, the class activities of class VI to X in those institutions have been asked to continue after the examination on examination days and on non-examination days.

However, instructions were given to be careful not to disturb the public examination to keep the class activities run. Everyone has been asked to take necessary measures in this regard. The matter is also mentioned in the letter as very urgent.

Meanwhile, other education boards of the country will give the same instructions to the educational institutions under them, said officials of the inter-education board coordination committee.

HSC and equivalent exams are starting from June 30. This time, the total number of candidates for HSC and equivalent examination under 11 education boards is 14,50,790 which is 91,448 more than last year.
