Missing child's body recovered in Ctg canal

The body of one of the two children who went missing after fell into the Chaktai Canal in Fisherighat area of Chattogram city was recovered on Wednesday.

Locals said they saw the body floating at the mouth of lane number-14 of the canal and informed police and fire service.
However, the identity of the child who was recovered could not be ascertained.

The child's approximate age is 12 years. Fire service divers are working to rescue another missing child.

Confirming the matter, CMCH Police outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Nurul Alam Ashek said a passerby spotted the body floating at the mouth of lane number14 of Rajakhali canal and informed them. The body was later sent to CMCH morgue for autopsy.
