People start returning to Dhaka after Eid

People have started to return to Dhaka after celebrating the Eid-ul-Azha vacation.

Many people are seen returning to Dhaka to join work. The government, semi government  offices are set to open from Wednesday (June 19). Many students are also returning as their educational institutions are reopening.
Some holidaymakers said that they returned earlier to rest before starting work. Some came back early to avoid the extra rush after Eid.

Although people have started returning to Dhaka on the second day of Eid, the number is not very high.

Only those with urgent needs or commitments are coming back. However, railway officials say the pressure of people returning to Dhaka will increase in the next couple of days.

Kamalapur platform station master Moniruzzaman Monir said passengers have not yet started returning in large numbers on these trains.
