Farmer killed in Bhola lightning strike

A farmer was killed in a lightning strike at Char Fasson upazila in Bhola district on Thursday morning

The incident happened at Ward No 1 under Jahanpur union in the upazila at around 8:00 am.   

The deceased was identified as Md Moktar Talukdar, 40, son of Rashid Talukdar, a resident of that area.

Md Russel, local UP member, said that a thunderbolt struck Moktar when he was cutting grass in a local farm, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, police have been sent to the scene, said Md Enamul Haque  officer in-charge of shashibhushan Police Station.
