6 members of robber gang held in Dhaka

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested six members of a robber gang from Jatrabari area of the capital.

The arrestees were identified as Nannu Sardar, 53, Raju Ahmed, 50, Hanif, 50, Humayun, 41, Tahirul, 38 and Rezaul Karim, 32.

Tipped off, a team of Rab-10 conducted a drive in the area on Sunday night and arrested them along with two knives, one axe and one machete, assistant director (media) of Rab-10, Assistant superintendent MJ Sohel revealed this information on Monday. —UNB
