Child's body recovered from Moulvibazar River

A diving team of Fire Service and Civil Defence Department, recovered the body of a child from the Barak River in Moulvibazar Sadar upazila on Monday afternoon.

The deceased Azizul, 7, was son of Mohibur Rahman, a resident of Lamua village under Khalilpur union of the upazila.
According to locals, Azizul slipped into the river while he was walking on the bamboo-made bridge to cross the river and went missing on Saturday morning. Family members along with locals searched for him but failed to locate him.

Later, the diving team started rescue operation and recovered the body of the child.

Khalilpur Union Parishad chairman Abu Mia Chowdhury confirmed the death matter.
