Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three people along with 1850 Yaba pills from Sadar upazila of Rajbari district on Thursday afternoon.
The arrested people are Nazmul Islam Kajol, 39; Towhidul Islam Rafid, 21; and Mst Borsha Khatun, 19. All are hailed from Kushtia's Kumarkhali Police Station.
The information was confirmed through a press release signed by Lt commander KM Shaikh Akhtar, company captain of RAB-10 in Faridpur, on Friday morning.
He said acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Raridpur's Sadar Police Station area and arrested them from Aladipur Bazar in front of Mazar gate.
KM Shaikh Akhtar said a total of 1850 Yaba pills, one mobile phone set and TK 1000 cash were seized from their possessions.
There are several drug cases against them with Goalunda Ghat Police Station and Pangsha Model Police Station. Among them, Kajol has been sentenced to fifteen years in a drug case, he added.
They, later, handed over to the related police stations, the RAB official said.
