One killed in Ctg road accident

A young man was killed after a bus ran him over while crossing the road in Bakalia police station area of Chattogram city on Friday. 

The accident took place around 8:00 am near Rajakhali area of the city.

The deceased was identified as Md Mustakin, 19, son of Noor Mohammad, a resident of Dakul Haji Village in Shikalbaha area under Karnaphuli police station in the city.

Locals said that a bus hit Mustakin while he crossing the road in the area, leaving him seriously injured. 
Locals rescued him and took him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in critical condition where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Nurul Alam Ashek, sub-inspector of CMCH Police Outpos, said that a young man was brought to the hospital with serious injuries in a road accident, the doctors declared him dead. 

The body has been kept in the morgue, he added.
