NATORE, June 30: Singra Municipality of the district on Wednesday announced its budget of Tk 65,093,339 for the financial year 2024-25.
In this connection, a meeting was held in its hallroom, with Md Zannatul Ferdous, mayor of the Pourashava, in the chair.
The budget was announced by the mayor. The budget included the revenue budget that is Tk 11, 18, 31,836 and expenditure budget that is Tk 10,97,61,500.
Besides, income in the development sector is 52, 66, 50,000 and the expenditure is the same.
Among others, Professor Dr Ashraful Islam, ex-principal of Rajshahi College, Ohidur Rahaman Sheikh, president of Upazila Awami League, Atiqur Rahaman, ex-principal, Abdul Matin, Pourasabha executive officer, and Saiful Islam, journalist, spoke at the budget meeting.
