International Islamic University of Chittagong (IIUC) Business Administration department organized a seminar on newly appointed teachers' development workshop at the university on Thursday.
IIUC Business Studies Faculty Dean Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman Khan was present as the chief guest presided over by Head of Business Administration department Professor Dr Nezamul Haque.
In the speech of the chief guest, Professor Dr. Mohammad Aktaruzzaman Khan said that such workshops are very important for newly appointed teachers. Through this workshop teachers will be able to improve their teaching methods and learn new teaching techniques.
''Education is a noble profession and as a teacher it is our responsibility to help students acquire knowledge and develop moral values'', he added.
Professor Dr Abdullahil Mamun, Associate Professor Dr AM Shahabuddin, MBA Program Co-ordinator Md Junaid Kabir, Md Mostafa Monir Chowdhury, Md Mosharaf Hossain and Md Saifur Rahman Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
