At least 30 leaders and activists of various political parties have joined Trinamool BNP on Saturday.
Trinamool BNP Chairperson Shamser Mobin Chowdhury welcomed these leaders and activists with flowers at a programme at the National Press Club on Saturday.
Party General Secretary Advocate Taimur Alam Khandkar and other leaders were present on the occasion.
In the event, Shamser Mobin Chowdhury said T-BNP is trying to build a prosperous Bangladesh. We do not believe in the politics of violence.
"We believe in alternative political movements, it does not mean that we killed people and burn cars on the streets," he added.
Shamser said if T-BNP got even one vote in the election, it was a genuine vote.
Joint convener of the National Peoples Farmers Party Arifuzzaman Julhas, Jatiya Party (JP) Joint General Secretary Golam Sarwar, National Congress Bangladesh Party (NCB) former Acting General Secretary Engr Anwar Parvez and about 20 other leaders and activists of National Peoples Party (NPP) joined Trinamool BNP.
