Housewife dies from snake bite in M'singh

A housewife died after being bitten by a venomous snake at Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh district on Sunday.

The dead was Parul Akter, 35, wife of Zakir Hossain, of Dubashira village under Tangabar union.
It was known that the dead Parul Akter was taking hay from their haystack for cows in the afternoon. At that time, a venomous snake bit her hand. Her relatives rescued her and brought to Gafargaon Upazila Health Complex. She later died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Dubashia Government Primary School teacher Lalon said, ''I advised to take her to the hospital after learning about the incident.''

Local UP chairman Mofazzal Hossain Sagar confirmed it.
