Five Bangladeshis killed in Dubai road crash

Five Bangladeshi nationals were killed after a vehicle carrying them exploded on the road in Dubai city at around 10:30 am (Bangladesh time) on Sunday (July 7).

The deceased were Md Rana, 30, son of Lutfar Rahman, Rashed, 32, son of Abdul Hakim, Razu, 24, son of Sheikh Irshad, Ibadul Islam, 34, son of Sheikh Ibrahim, and Hira Mia, 22, son of Manzur. All the victims were the residents of Nababganj and Dohar of Dhaka.

The accident occurred while they were heading towards Abu Dhabi to their work station. But, the vehicle carrying them exploded on the road on Sunday morning, leaving them dead on the spot.

Jamal Hossain, Consul General, Consulate General of Bangladesh in Dubai confirmed the matter.

They lived in Ajman state of Emirates.
