Students have gathered in front of the central library of Dhaka University at 10am on Wednesday protesting the reinstatement of the quota system in government jobs.

Later, they went to Shahbagh.
It was found that the students from different halls gathered in front of the library with banners and, later, went to Shahbagh.

Sarjis Alam, a DU students, said, "Our movement is demanding quota reform. We want the quota to be five per cent. If the government has any statement in this regard, they should give it."

Meanwhile, vehicular movement in Paltan, Bijay Sarani, Farmgate, Karwan Bazar, Gulistan areas came to a standstill following the student's protest in different roads.
