4 killed in Bogura road accident

Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Bogura's Sherpur upazila on Thursday evening.

The identities of the deceased couldn't be known immediately.

It was learnt that the accident took place around 7:00pm, when a Sirajganj-bound truck hit a Bogura-bound auto-rickshaw, leaving one died on the spot and three others injured. 

The injured were rescued and taken to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex.
Later, two of the injured were referred to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.

All three died while undergoing treatment.

Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of the Sherpur Police Station, confirmed the incident.
