A fire broke out at a toll plaza on the Mayor Hanif flyover in the capital's Jatrabari area on Wednesday night.
The fire broke out around 9:30pm on Wednesday, said Fire Service officials.
On information, several units of firefighters rushed to the spot and working to bring it under control.
Though some individuals alleged that some miscreants set fire to the toll plaza, it is not ascertained yet how the toll plaza caught in fire.
Confirming the fire incident, the Fire Service Control Room said there have been no reports of casualties so far.
However, due to the closure of the toll plaza, all types of traffic on the Hanif Flyover have been halted, added the fire control room.
