Man killed in police, quota protesters clash in Badda

A man was killed and over 100 others were injured during clashes between police and private university students in Badda and Rampura area.

The man was Dulal Matbor,  a Hiace driver who was crossing the area at the time.

Rubel Hossain, deputy general manager of the Farazy Hospital, said the injured was brought to the hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead around 12.30pm.  

He said there is a hole in the chest but we are not sure yet whether is from a bullet.
The official said around 100 people, including police and students, rushed to the hospital with injuries.
