Quota protesters lock in clash with BCL, police at Dhanmondi-27

Quota protesters locked in clashes with activists of Jubo League and Chhatra League and the police in Dhanmondi-27 area in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.

The clash started at around 2:30pm and continued till now t around 5:00pm.

Jubo League and Chhatra League activists were seen joining hands with police to chase the demonstrators.

Police fired rubber bullets and lobbed sound grenades to disperse the protesters, witnesses said.
A number of the protesters suffered injuries during the clashes.
