Youth electrocuted in Panchagarh

A young boy died from electrocution in Panchagarh Sadar upazila on Friday.

The deceased was Noor Islam, 26, son of Yeakub Ali, a resident of Laskarpara village under Kajaldighi union of the upazila.
According to locals, Noor came in contact with a live wire when he was trying to connect a bulb with electricity in the afternoon.

On information, police rushed there and recovered the body from the pond, they said.

Confirming the matter, Panchagarh Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Pardeep Kumar Roy said the body was handed over to the family after filling an unnatural death case with the police.
