Mobile internet to be restored at 3PM: Palak

All operators to get 5GB bonus

Mobile internet, which has been closed for 10 days, is going to be restored across the country at 3PM on Sunday (July 28).

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak made the announcement at a briefing after a meeting with mobile operators at BTRC Bhaban in the capital this morning.

Considering the loss of the customers, 5GB internet will be given for free to all users for three days after connection is restored.
Internet connectivity across the country was disrupted from the night of July 17 following the violence over Quota Reform Movement.

Meanwhile, the broadband internet services have been partially restored since July 23, mobile internet remains down.
