DSE chair visits brokerages, interacts with shareholders, investors

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Chairman Prof. Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu on Sunday in an unprecedented move visited multiple brokerage houses at Motijheel area to directly engage with shareholders and investors. 

His visit aims at among others acquiring firsthand understanding of challenges faced by investors and brokers in trading and transaction process. The DSE chairman said on this occasion that it remains committed to ensuring a smooth trading environment for all investors in the bourse. He also announced plans to undertake broader discussions on capital market development with investors at all levels.

Expressing gratitude to brokers and branch offices for their continued participation in trading despite recent market challenges, Dr. Babu urged investors to maintain patience and avoid panic during future market fluctuations. 

He was accompanied by DSE GM and company secretary Mohammad Asadur Rahman and deputy general manager Md Shafiqur Rahman.
