Man 'commits suicide' in Rangamati

A man reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at Kaptai upazila in Rangamati district on Monday morning. 

The incident occurred at Dongnola village under Raikhali union in the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Singsuimong Marma, 43, a resident of the area. 

Ansarul Karim, officer in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station, said police were sent to the spot after receiving information. 
Details will be known after the investigation, he added.
