Light to moderate rain likely across country: BMD

Bangladesh Metrological Department(BMD) forecast rains across the country in 24 hours commencing 9am on Monday

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions, at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, & Dhaka divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions,” according to BMD’s weather bulletin, reports UNB.

Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, it added.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur & Sylhet divisions and Rajshahi, Tangail, & Kishoreganj districts and it may abate from some places, said the bulletin.
