Group of Khulna varsity students vow to continue protest, coordinators withdraw

A section of Khulna University students on Tuesday night withdrew from the ongoing movement related to quota reform.

After a meeting with Khulna city mayor, lawmaker and deputy police commissioner at about 11pm, the students withdrew their movement.

Meanwhile, another section vowed to continue their protests.
Johurul Tanvir Ahmed announced the withdrawal decision on behalf of the coordinators of the Khulna University, while Sheikh Russel on behalf of Azam Khan Government Commerce College.

Rejecting the withdrawal decision, around 11:47pm, the Anti-Discriminatory Students Movement coordinator Miraz announced online app 'Telegram' that they will continue their movement for their nine-point demands.
