Govt announces 3-day general holiday from Monday

The government has announced three days of general holidays from Monday to ensure public safety amid the evolving situation following the student movement across the country.

The announcement came followed by another government decision of imposing a countrywide curfew from 6pm on Sunday for an indefinite period.

The government announced the holiday in an executive order on Sunday amid the worsening situation due to the students’ one-point oust government movement.
