Cabinet dissolved after Sheikh Hasina's resignation

Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister in the face of prolonged and intense students' movement and left the country on Monday. In the meantime, Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman announced to form an interim government to run the country.

According to the constitution, all ministers of the cabinet, state ministers and deputy ministers are equally considered to have resigned following resignation of the prime minister. In the process , the cabinet is also regarded to be dissolved. 
However, the constitution also mentions that ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers can continue their duties until the new government is formed.
