All social media platforms restored

Access to all social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube, was restored in the country on Monday afternoon. 

Users were able to access these platforms from around 4:00 pm.

Earlier, broadband and 4G internet services were restored at around 1:30 pm after a three-hour disruption on Monday. 
Mobile internet services had been shut down on Sunday afternoon amid nationwide violence.
 
Later, access to social media was also blocked through broadband internet.
