Many casualties in Monday’s clashes

Many clashes took place in the capital on Monday centering the ‘March to Dhaka’ programme organized by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. 

Many casualties were reported in the clashes. The bodies of 40 people were kept at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), several of whom were not identified. 

In total, 397 people have been treated, and 71 of them have been admitted to the hospital. 

Md Bachchu Miah, Inspector and In-charge of the hospital’s police camp, confirmed the matter on Tuesday morning.
