Mohiuddin Rubel, Director of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) announced that the largest organization in the garment sector will reopen on Wednesday.

Despite many public and private institutions having resumed operations, ready-made garment factories remain closed.

However, member factories of both the BGMEA and the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) are preparing to reopen on Wednesday.

BGMEA Director Ashikur Rahman Tuhin noted that the situation has improved, allowing for the reopening of factories.

BKMEA Chief Executive Officer Sulab Chowdhury added, "In the current context, measures should be taken to keep industrial establishments open from Wednesday as there is an announcement for reopening. I also urge you to ensure the overall safety of the factory and its workers."
