The strongest and longest-living race on the Earth is the human race. But are we really so powerful?

What about other animals like dogs, cats, or even ants? There are other animals who share this planet in addition to humans. Do we know how our planet was formed or where the human race originated? How did we come to be?

Philosophers and scientists have been fascinated by the question of human origins for ages. Our evolution from prehistoric hominids to modern Homo sapiens has been pieced together via meticulous research of fossils, genetics, and comparative anatomy. Millions of years of adaptation, difficulties in survival, and creativity have gone into our journey.
The author of the book "Amra Emni Eshe Veshe Jai" has attempted to shed light on how early humans, who were hunter-gatherers who roamed the Earth and relied on fire and tools to obtain food and protect themselves from predators, gradually advanced toward becoming the dominant species on the planet, formed communities, invented agriculture, and constructed civilizations that altered ecosystems and landscapes. It becomes evident when we consider our role in the natural world that humans do not live on Earth alone; rather, it is a planet that is shared by innumerable other species. Because of the close relationship between our evolution and the evolution of ecosystems, all life forms are interlinked. Every living thing, from the little bacteria in our stomachs to the vast forests that support us, is an essential part of the web of life.

We can realize this by reading the book "Amra Emni Eshe Veshe Jai," where author Hasan Gorky tried to compile this in a very simple and understandable language. It is still not too late to have a curious mind, and most of the answers can be found in this book.

In conclusion, while humans have undoubtedly shaped the course of Earth's history, our strength lies not just in our physical abilities but in our capacity for empathy, innovation, and stewardship.

Borno Prokash Limited, a national publishing house of Bangladesh, published the book paged 400 on the occasion of Book Fair this year. Written in Bangla, the book mainly dealt with scientific and philosophical point of view.

Its writer Hasan Gorky, an expatriate Bangladeshi, is now working as an associate faculty member of Royal Roads University, Victoria, Canada.
