Lightning kills man in Satkhira District 

 
SATKHIRA, Aug 16: A man was killed by lightning strike in Sadar Upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place in Kuchpukur area under Agardari Union of the upazila at around 5 pm.
The deceased was identified as Khokon Hossain, 40, son of Mosharraf Hossain, a resident of Kuchpukur area in the upazila.

It was known that thunderbolt struck on Khokon all of a sudden in the area at around 5 pm, which left him dead on the spot.

The family members then recovered his body.

Agardari Union Parishad Chairman Kabir Hossain Milon confirmed the incident.
