Two found dead in Faridpur, Satkhira

Two young men were found dead in separate incidents in two districts - Faridpur and Satkhira, on Tuesday.

FARIDPUR: Police recovered the half-decomposed body of a young man from the Kumar River in Nagarkanda Upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Officer-in-Charge (OC) (Investigation) of Nagarkanda Police Station Bikash Chandra Mandal said that locals spotted the half-decomposed naked body of the youth floating in the Kumar River in Dakshin Kandi Village under Kaichail Union of the upazila in the evening and informed the matter to police. 

Being informed, police rushed to the scene and recovered the body. However, the law enforcers are trying to identify the deceased and legal action would be taken after investigation, the OC added.

SATKHIRA: Bangladesh Army personnel have recovered the body of a young man from Tala Upazila in the district early Tuesday.
The identity of the deceased, aged about 25 to 30, could not be known immediately.

It was known that local people spotted the body of the youth in Trishmail area under the upazila at early hours and informed the matter to the Army personnel.

Being informed, Army members recovered the body from the scene and sent it to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Tala Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Rajib Sardar confirmed the death matter.
