Adviser for Industries, Housing and Public Works Adilur Rahman Khan speaks at an opinion-sharing meeting with journalists at Munshiganj Press Club early Friday afternoon.

Adviser for Industries, Housing and Public Works Adilur Rahman Khan has said the government is working for necessary reforms so that fascism cannot return to the country again.

He made the remark while sharing opinion with journalists at Munshiganj Press Club early Friday afternoon.
Adilur said students and people stood against the massacre in July and August. Fascism has fallen in the country. The entire period of Awami League was a fascist ruling system. Reforms are going on so that fascism can't come back to Bangladesh again.

The Adviser said the present interim government is working with the objective of building a democratic structure from the local to the national level so that injustice and human rights violation come to an end. Power will be handed over to an elected government after reforms within a short time-frame.

Before it, Adilur Rahman Khan went to the houses of those who were killed during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Munshiganj. He met the family members and conveyed his sympathies to the affected families.

Munshiganj Press Club's president Bashir Uddin Jewel, human rights organisation Odhikar's director Nasir Uddin Elan and local journalists were present.
