Cumilla flood death toll reaches 14

Four more people, including two children, died in flood water by drowning in the last 24 hours. With them, the death toll from flood rose to 14.

Meanwhile, a woman passed away from cardiac arrest at a shelter centre. 

These incidents occurred in between Monday noon (August 26) to night in Cumilla's Burichang, Nangalkot, Monohorgonj, and Laksam upazilas.
On Sunday, three people died in Titas and Burichang upazilas, while six others had died earlier since the start of the floods.

Burichang Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shahida Akter confirmed the death of two children. They are  Hasibul, 10, and Ibrahim, 4.
