Unidentified man's body retrieved in Rajbari

Police recovered the throat-slit body of an unidentified man at Goalanda upazila in Rajbari district on Saturday morning.

The body was found in the Katakhali Bottola area under Debogram union around 8:00 AM. 

The deceased's identity could not be identified immediately, but he is estimated to be around 35 years old.

According to locals, pedestrians discovered the body beside a road in the Katakhali Bottola area on Saturday morning and informed it to the police as they could not identify the man.
On information, police recovered the body from the spot, said Pranbandhu Chandra Biswas, officer-in-charge of Goalanda Police Station. 

Preparations are underway to send the body to Rajbari for an autopsy, the OC added.
