Bangladesh booters to face Bhutan Thursday

Bangladesh football national team is set to play against host Bhutan in the first of two-match FIFA friendly series on Thursday.

The match scheduled to be held at 6 PM on Thursday at Changlimithang Football Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
While addressing a pre match press conference at the match venue, Bangladesh skipper Jamal Bhuyan said the match is going to be a very tough. 

"I am expecting a very tough match……. though we had the camp but could not do equal with Bhutan. However, I am expecting it's going to be a very tough match for us,” Jamal said.

The Bangladesh captain said though the team has good camp and practice session in Bhutan but they needed more fitness to play the two matches. However, everybody is prepared to take the challenge against Bhutan.  

Jamal said especially in the counter side of Bhutan forward Chencho Gyeltshen is very difficult to manage and they also have few other players who are very fast and very great, but he hoped that his team would be able to manage those players.

Bangladesh head coach Javier Cabrera said his boys would face tough challenge against Bhutan and at the same time he is looking forward a positive outcome from the two matches.

The coach said the U-20 national football team won SAFF U20 Championship title few days ago and they have four of the U-20 players in the team which is very positive sign for the team for this kind of FIFA window.

The Spanish coach firmly said they have come in Bhutan to win the two matches.

Bhutanese captain Nima Wangdi said as their team comprised with very young players so this kind of friendly match would boost up the confidence level.

Nima informed that his boys have got enough time to take preparation of these two friedlies because players were remained busy with their own clubs.
